Every once in a while to my grandpa in England, he loves receiving my letters, and has kept them all over the years as I've grown up over time. This reminds me I should write to him again soon!
With the advent of email, I'd say I write more frequently and with more detail. I do however send post cards. They're cheap, colorful, and have that feeling of "actually being there."
I have a few times but not regularly. We sometimes send packages to my family in Iran or they sometimes send letters to us and I've replied with a letter but only a few times. And one time I was sending money to my friend and I wrapped it in a couple layers of paper so it wasn't visible and I wrote stuff like "I love you", "you're my favourite Ethiopian" and "what are you wearing?"+creeper face drawings lol.
Not as often as I used to. Wish I did more, but I don't really have anyone to write to. Well, there ARE people I could write too.... but pretty sure they aren't into the whole letters thing. It's all texting these days. Even email is disappearing. My friend and I would always type long emails back and forth when we hadn't seen each other in awhile. Recently when we both started college at different places, I typed her a long email and said we should meet up on a break sometime and her response? "K". Yep. One letter. I stopped sending her lengthy emails after that.
Don't worry, I'll come over there and drag your booty from it. You can kick and scream all you want but I'll make sure you're away from it. I may be short but I'm muscular so it will be a piece of cake.
....emails and text messages are not so personal...yes, it is faster but I miss the old fashion way at tmes!!
If anything I'd send a letter to Richard Ramirez or Holmes or TJ Lane or something sldfkj
but not yet tho
