Of course. In fact during my conversion, I sat down with both my parents, my brother, my children, and any friends still holding on at the time, and apoligized in depth for any way in which I felt I may have hurt any of them during my life. Since then, I apoligize within minutes after a bad comment slips out, or I sense I've hurt someones feelings with my often brutal honesty. I have learned that some things we say need to be finessed, but we still musn't lie. Few people stick around for the truth. My family are stuck with me. But they've come to understand my integrity, and we are a very close family.

Why wouldn't I? If you make a mistake, and you will, you should apologize to the kids just like you would to anyone else.

You have to be big enough to apologize to your child when you know you're wrong.

My child has been dead for a long time, but, of course, when I did something wrong to him, I apologised.

When an apology is due, they get it from me without hesitation. Lead by example.

I make mistakes, and I'm fortunate to have a very forgiving daughter.

I have and will continue to when I have hurt them. The same way they, even as adults say they are sorry to me.
