Pretty much... however, each chain has carved out a different region... W Castle is more north and Krystal is more south... I can buy frozen White Castles at the grocery though... they are just as yummy

Thanks for the thought. The last time I was home< Hattiesburg, MS was in 05 right after Katrina. One of the only places open was Krystals. I grabbed a whole bag and munched on them all the way to Memphis on my way home.

Thanks. It finally did. We were living in Washington at the time and still owned a house there. We sold it for scrap and paid it off with the insurance.

No everyone can eat everything. I can't eat fermented beans... although, I suspect they're healthier than your average Krystal... Nice to know. Thanks for sharing. Not healthy is a perfectly awesome reason for avoiding certain foods...

We had one in Houston,but it was tuck in the middle of no where. I drove by it ayear ago and it was closed among all the other burger places around it.

We have a White Castle which looks exactly the same. Which I don't eat, I don't get the point of them sliders. Why not just buy a full size sandwich because by the time you have to buy so many of them to fill up you're spending more.

Very true... there is an aesthetic difference between your W/Castle (Krystal) and other burgers though... but, I hear ya... we have some amazing local places that serve stunning burgers here in the area... thanks for sharing

rub it in... I have to buy frozen
white castle's at the grocery store... like, $4.50 for six (3 wrapped 2 packs in a box)... they do taste yummy after microwaving though... it's a hassle to add th' pickles and condiments though... Thanks for sharing

Have you ever tried having them shipped fresh to ya? Kinda expensive, but if your blood content of these delicious tasting burgers is low, gotta do it. >_<
When I lived in the South, I had Krystal's off & on. But I graduated HS in Ohio...SO it will always be White Castle. :)

An inexpensive little burger on a steamy bun served w/ lots of pickle slices and steamy chopped onion... you can also have ketch sup and/or mustard... cheese or no... takes a bunch to fill ya up...

looks yummy! a real burger... they even got the lettuce on the bottom of the patties in order to keep the burger juices from softening the bottom bun... very professional

And delicious. Unfortunately they are only in California as far as I know, and I no longer live there. I'm jonesing bad! Plus, their cups have a bible verse on the bottom, and they have a whole secret unlisted menu! A "Quad" is a secret word to have four patties, "Animal Style"... I've never tried that one, but I've HEARD that it comes rare... there is a whole bunch of those. Every restaurant has a set of crossed palm trees either in front of or next to it. and their ALWAYS busy! I mean BUSY! Lines clear out the door usually!
