"Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; Seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come". ~Julius Caesar from Act 2 and Scene 2 from the play Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.

A poor player that struts and frets his life upon the stage
It is a tale told by an idiot
Full of sound and fury
... Signifying nothing.
I would be very into a group that looked into the the impact of Shakespear's works over the years in an attempt to define the importance of them. I guess that would be difficult, but I would love the challenge. Also, it would provide an opportunity for me to read Shakespear with a purpose other than to just be exposed to it.
I guess it all boils down to Shakespear is more valuable than it is enriching. It's a real battle to read and learn, and it doesn't make for good performances per se...at least that's my experience. It's just too hard to relate to the characters I think. But it is brilliant in that the world can't exist without Shakespear's works counting as masterpieces or as the ultimate expression of the soul.
