I do not. I went to see The Orphanage with some friends today and I'm genuinely scared to go into the dark rooms in our house in case Tomas jumps me or something...I don't like being terrified either. But some people love the thrill, or just aren't scared. What's your position?

Never liked them..I was scared to death by being taken to see the movie Psycho when I was too little....The bathroom scene stuck in my head ...than every really time I heard of a real life murder for the longest time I thought to myself...How could anyone want to see people being killed...It happens everyday......

i love Horrors i've seen the Ophanage and personally i din't think it was scary it had a great story line to it though but what do some people say oh yeah that's right HORRORS are my Fettish is that how you say it? but yeah

I have reached a point though where I don't find horror "scary", but, I still watch them, searching for one that will genuinely scare me , but, the horror genre is filled with so many cliches that most produced today are more laughable than anything.

Here are a list of some of the horror movies that I have watched recently, and my opinion about them, but, I believe that whether a movie is "good" or not is an individual's preference and don't use my opinion to decide which movie to watch.

This is not a complete list but, as I get older my memory fails me from time to time.

1) The stepfather - new version, wasn't impressed, boring.
2) Shrooms - Ok but plot was transparent and cliche filled.
3) Summers Moon a.k.a Summers Blood - low budget interesting but plagued with bad acting
4) Evilution - low budget zombie flick, bad acting, bad plot
5) Wrong Turn 3 - I liked it better than the first two, the plot was actually not that bad.
6) Children of the corn (2009 remake) - Good action packed kick butt movie, ending sucked though.
7) Seventh Moon - From creator of Blair Witch, I actually enjoyed this movie, it was definitely unique, I have an admitted crush on Amy Smart which helped out nicely.
8)Trick R Treat - compilation of scary Halloween stories, good movie
9) Zombieland - I li...

11) The Thaw - Interesting movie with Val Kilmer
12) Pig Hunt - Pretty decent movie
13) Pandorum - Weird but, good
14) Pandemic - An "outbreak" wanna be, but, not too bad.
15) Oral Fixation - You might not want to go to the dentist after watching this one.
16) OffSpring - Based on Jack Ketchum novel "Off Season" I read the book and preferred it to this low budget movie based on the novel.
17) Jennifer's body - I like to look at Megan Fox, just not while she is acting. It wasn't a total waste of time.
18) It's Alive 2008 Version - Ok, I liked the original better
19) Homecoming - More of a thriller than a horror movie, but, very good.
20) Haunting of Winchester House - booooring.....
21) Dismal - cliche, cliche, cliche
22) DeadGirl - Sick twisted necrophelia...
23) Beast Within 2009 - Foreign attempt to create a Cabin Fever, Resident Evil hybrid, boring, cliche filled.
24) Basement Jack - About a killer who only kills during storms...I actually enjoyed it, but, not a favorite by any means.

They have always been my fav every since I was a young girl. I raised my daughter on them also. She and I went to see "Paranormal Activity" together on Halloween night and had a blast. Nothing like a good scare

Like I said I have been seeing horror movies for over 30 years and it take a lot to even make me flench. All horror movies now are about the Gore and foul language. Well this one is one that is very suspenseful and gets you when you least expect it. I loved it. I have heard some people say they didn't like it but I have heard people say it was Awesome. I myself give it 4 stars out of 5. Go see it I think it will be worth it for you.

The old movies made up until the 1970's were good. After that quality (and originality) went downhill fast. So I love horror movies just not the crap they make now.

Well now they are doing remakes of the good horror from back then but making them bloody and gory and ruining them.

NNOOOO...i am 47 and the 1st and last one i saw was my first week in my own apt when i was 18 and living alone. ruined me ForEver!! my kids love it though. my dtr just say Paranormal Activity and now can't sleep!!

I love horror films. It freaks me out sooo much that i cant even look at the screen most of the time or sleep but i just love them. But only the old ones not the new ones that only show blood.

I love them but the majority of new "horror" films are slashers. Not that I mind the gore, but a good horror movie doesn't necessarily have to show blood and tits.

i don't really like watching them in theatres though, i prefer watching it in DVD on someone's house, it's easier to hide my face that way..;]

It depends on the film. I like quirky ones that make you think, but I'm not a fan of slasher movies. I also love the psychotic ones, such as Silence of the Lambs and The Shining. Those two were much more interesting to me than most other horror movies.
