These are the quarters with each states name on the back. Each year, since 1999, 5 states quarters are released by the order in which they became a state in the union. The last 5 states will be released in 2008.

My mother-in-law got the books for my kids to start collecting, but they never really had any interest in it. I found one of the books one day when I was cleaning and it still had the quarters in it that my mother-in-law had started it with. So I took the book and have continued to collect all of the quarters.

Good for you. They may not appreciate it now, but give them another 10 years and they might. :)

Hobb nobb? Never would have thought that when I was back in college, but OK! :) Ramen is definitely quick, easy and very kind to the budget....it's the mac n' cheese of the new millenia. That works. :)

My mom bought each of her grandchildren books back in 1999 and we love to collect them. It is kind of bittersweet that next year will be the last of the 50 states...at first I thought we would never get to the end, now I wish that it wasn't almost over! :)
