Not since I quit smoking. I used to get sinus infections and colds every year. I quit smoking 1 year and 7 months ago and haven't had a cold or sinus infection since. My voice is clear (I can hold a note longer) my lung capacity is like normal again. My complexion and skin tone has improved. I could go on.
Definitely not, in fact I am rarely sick. Not had flu for years. No flu shots needed here give them to some other poor sod that gets sneezed on in a bus queue and ends up feeling awful for week, up to their eyes in snot.
The only reason I asked is because my daughter 11 suffers terribly and she just had a week of it. I just wanted to ask you what you do apart from take the doctors prescription. I am at my wits end I bought her an ionizer for her room but sometimes she switches it off. If you have any advice at all I would be very grateful as I hate to see her poorly.
I use a saline solution. It comes with a squirt bottle and a premixed solution. I use it twice a day. Another great product is called Alkalol. It's best to dilute it when you first start using it. It's very strong. It's got menthol in it. I mix it with the saline solution for better results.
Hope ya feel better soon... Honey, lemon, sugar babe.... I swear by it.... Soothes the throat, cuts through the phlegm and tastes delicious when everything else tastes like pants.
The more people you are around the more likely you will catch what they have, since
many people do not care whether they sneeze in your face or not. By keeping away
from crowds, washing your hands after using the bathroom (you'd be surprised how many
people do not wash their hand after using a bathroom!), eating properly and using
vitamins, a person can keep healthy most of the time. It's been years since I had the flu
or a cold, but then I am not around very young children, who are the ones who generally
spread these types of diseases around.
I used to and found out that I was missing vitamins in my diet, and I take dietary supplements and eating what I need to so, no more colds/flus for me! Flu shots are NOTHING compared to proper eating and can be detrimental to your long term health and your future children's health!!
