As a person that prefers peace, I wish I didn't have to carry. But, as a realist, I carry just about everywhere I go...

Even if we had a peaceful nation, I might not feel compelled to carry. But, I would still support gun rights - you never know when something might change.

But I also use a different criteria to judge if I should be armed: Will law enforcement officers where I will be traveling, be armed? They know something, that *I* should follow their lead.
After all: Criminals go to some trouble to *AVOID* cops, while they actively *PREY* on non-cops.
