Do you care what others think of you?

Not overly. I know too many people who's own egos stifle objective judgement!

That's a tough personal nut to crack ... thank god I believe that it is progress not perfection

I've never had someone dislike me, and I would like to keep it that way. I Love ALL people, so what they think about me is important.

no im,very comfortable in my own skin. and i think im a likeable person and the ones who dont like me arent worth being my friend anyway.because they dont really know me.

I care what others think but it doesn't change me nor am I phoney to get people to like me. People that I have met that say they don'y care are usually AH and very rude people that most don't care to be around

Any person who wants to be vital to those they love, and those whose opinion matters to them does care to a degree, how they are thought of by others. What matters to me is, do my friends feel safe with me? do they know that their thoughts and feelings are very important and that I would hold them as safely as they do for me. Those who have a disability,as I do, already fear whether people will look at me as someone who is less than another. We have to work that out on our own. There was one time when , for the first time after being run over by a hit and run driver,I realized that I was different now. I was in Tower Records, and there was a very nice looking man on the opposite side of the isle from me. He was checking me out as much as I was checking him out. He looked into my eyes, and he blushed. That made me blush. Little by little we were reaching the end of the isle.He looked at my face, then his eyes moved to my hair, and then he looked down and saw my cane, and his face went blank. He suddenly looked uncomfortable and as if he couldn't leave the store fast enough. So, Yes, it does matter what others think of me. Now I am a stronger person and know that we all have our vulnerabilities, and we must treat others with respect.

Most of us care or must care, for professional, social or private reasons.
On the other hand, we must not bother too much about what other people think of us, as long as we are sincere, loyal, honest and openminded.

I've introspected far too often and too deeply to think that someone else has a better understanding of me than I do. People's opinions of me reflect who they are much more than they do who I really am.

Why to care ? I know who I am, my flaws, and I'm perfect.

peers whom I hold a high esteem towards and my "friends with benefits" opinions of me is important and mean a great deal. But just the average "bump" on the social highways opinion of me has zero effect and means absolutely nothing to me.

When you finally reach my age, you'll understand that NO ONE out there gives a crap about you, save two exceptions; your spouse and perhaps some (not all) of your immediate family members. Thus, I rightfully don't give a rats a$$ what anyone thinks about me.

I was an abused child that destroyed and killed that child I was, so I tried to please
everyone around me. Now that I try to live my own truth, I lost many people I loved
but today I try to be nice to everyone but if they don't like me, how I live or any part of
My life, they can kiss my Puerto Rican A.s on there way out the door of my life.

I do not want the employees to think I am a witch so I am very careful about what I say and how I say it - so sometimes yes

Why the hell should I? People like to knock other people down because they have a really bad life. If they're really caring about what I'm wearing or doing or some shyt, that means they're trying to distract themselves.

Eh...not really, this is me: lazy, fun, boring, hungry, fat on the inside, im Asian so im a little short down there, im outgoing (sometimes), aggressive when pushed, nice, awesome, and epic.

Only my family, friends and God's opinion. Growing up when people were always talking about me when I did absolutely nothing to them I learned not to care. It only makes you stronger.

Caring about what others think of you works on a sliding scale. The older you get (especially past high school), the less it matters.

Ultimately, only three opinions really matter. Those of your God, your significant other(s) and your boss.

I hate that too, the thing I hate most when someone judges when they don't even know me. A lot of people do that on here though. I just tell them that they haven't met me so please don't judge me. It's pretty annoying. There are some trolls on Sodahead though but it's nothing compared to Youtube but a lot of more people use Youtube. It's like every video have 12 year olds arguing on it though. I hope they are 12, I hope these idiots aren't adult because they should be a lot more mature. It's sad how immature some people are though.

i like you just fine you seem like a nice kid. you remind me of one of my sons. ask too many questions sometimes but other than that youre ok,.be comfortable in your own skin and dont worry about what others think of you the only person you need to please right noware your parents and God. everyone else doesnt matter.

I understand what you are talking about in regards to people hating on you here, but thankfully it's only one person that consistently sends me hate mail. I just blocked her/him ( can't tell by their systems name). Now I have control over how much hate comes to me. ( I LOVE THE BLOCK FUNCTION).

I never block anyone even if I don't like them and they are rude to me.

I used to, and it ruined me, but now I could care less what people think. I'm me and that's about as unique as it's gonna get!

I care more about how they treat me than what they think of me, but depending on the person, yeah I care sometimes. More often than not, I couldn't care less though.
