Do you believe women base most of their over all life happiness on the current status of their relationships?

I think initially they would base it off their relationship, but after really thinking about it and taking into consideraion the other types of :relationships" they have, their thoughts would change.

1st marriage is only one relationship. Family and friends can break you heart. So can loosing or not getting your dream job, etc./

Friends, family and satisfacton in your job would fall into play as well and above all, your overall sense of self-worth. No one can empower you better then YOU and that is why I stayed guy free for 6 years before I met my husband because after 3 really BAD experiences that left me broken and battered I vowed I'll stay by myself before I deal with another JERK again.
It made me a stronger person!!!

I think that relationship status has a little to do with not only a woman's happiness, but a man's happiness as well.

Let's face it. We all want a relationship of some sort. Whether it be a spiritual one, a sexual one, a mutual one, etc. It helps us feel good about ourselves to know that someone loves us. Whether it be because you're a good shagger or because the significant other thinks you have a great personality is dependant on the individual person.

You know why its important to know we're loved? It helps us love ourselves. Of course, just because someone has no relationship with anyone does not mean that they're going to slit their wrists, or something else just as horrid. One can still love their selves, even if they have no belief structure as well as no sigificant other/stranger to go home to/with at night. Being in any sort of relationship just makes it easier.

when you are in a relationship that is going to impact a huge portion of your happiness but there are also other factors like; friends, how happy you are with your job, and your kids (if you have them).

Yes. I think women who haven't experienced enough else in life to gain the wisdom that there IS more to it than men most definitely equate their overall happiness to whatever their "love" status is. Ironically, it takes being single/alone for awhile to learn that happiness can be derived from many other factors in life...

Everything that a woman desires in life comes down to how secure she is a here surroundings. Finances, relationships, job,etc. The more secure a woman is, the more comfortable she is in life.

Relationships are important for men too. I feel that women holds relationships more dearly than men. Men become to relaxed or complacent in a relationship sooner, and we have the "what have you done for me attitude" quicker than women. For example, our women could have fed us an excellent dinner last week, or gave us the best (oral pleasures) undeserving favors, and we may still gripe and complain! Men sometimes can be fickle, and it's up to us men to make sure that our women are happy! Remember guys, make your women think that they are always RIGHT, and do the things you did to get her so you can keep her.

Women get hung up on things of no importance. If you have a problem, solve it and move on. You can not keep living in the past. You have to move on amd make things better. Cause if not, things will never change.

I know that when I have a fight with my significant other, I am less happy. And it affects my attitude until the problem is resolved.

Alot of different things can make or break a woman's happiness like: wanting to get/stay happily married, desiring and achieving pregancy, having good health or a great doctor who prescribes the best meds so they can go through life pain/sick-free, having or reaching for a degree/career, being part of a good church family, physical activity (either alone or with or a friend), sexual satisffaction, peace of mind even in troublesome times, and having a relationship with the Lord.

IF A WOMEN'S FRIENDS OR FAMILY ARE SUFFERING FROM WHATEVER ..HEALTH PROBLEMS..MONEY TROUBLES ECT. ..THAT AFFECTS HER HAPPYNESS LEVEL..

Its not just women, they probably just talk about in groups in the bathroom more openly than men.

Being that the amount of women that are married today is roughly 50% that would make a lot of unhappy women. I know a lot of women that travel, hang out with friends and are not looking for relationships! I do believe though that much of ones life happiness and unhappiness can have a lot to do with their relationship.

My relationship with my husband is great, but I am unhappy because of problems within my country, money, environment, religion, stuff like that

Based on my personal experience women are much more complex but a good relationship is without doubts of immense importance.

Women and men should put a lot of emphasis on relationships. What else do we have??

True happiness comes from within and is a state of mind. A good relationship can add to that happiness, but it's not the main factor.

Women who do not calculate happiness based on relationship status usually have the best relationships.
