DO YOU BELIEVE VAMPIRES ACTUALLY EXIST?

According to one account I just read - about 4% of Americans, 12 million people, actually believe these demonic creatures of the night exist.

Some Christians literally believe in the devil - so maybe it isn't far fetched that Vampires actually exist. While I personally do not believe in either, I would like to hear from people from all backgrounds - those involved in Christianity, Wicca, Buddhists, Scientology, Judaism, Pagans. It would be interesting to hear the viewpoint of Atheists - although I assume they would believe its all as much fantasy as any religious belief.

    YES. Some sort of supernatural man or a corrupted gene that spread. Very possible.

    According to vampire legend, Cain wandered until he found Lilith by the Red Sea. She took him in and showed him the power of blood. (My religion teacher put it that the tree of life is represented in blood. Thus why Jewish persons staunchly drain all blood away from their meat before cooking and eating it. And thus why drinking blood/ being a vampire is such a big deal in a religious context.)

    I don't think there is....but my imagination always come up with things lol like a vampire that only feeds off of emotions and the person being feed from doesn't know it only feels a little weaker. It could be possible. If vampires truly exist by now they would be well versed in hiding, wouldn't they?

    I Believe the existence of vampires will always be questioned. R they real or r they fake? lol

    Atheist here, and no. Vampires as defined as blood sucking near-immortals do not exist. There are people who think they're vampires, and then there are people who have certain illnesses that present along the lines of what people a hundred and more years ago would have linked with vampirism. But that's it.

    Sure they do. But not in the way we think.

    It's actually a peculiar disease called Renfields syndrome aka. Clinical Vampirism.

    It's basically a desire to drink blood, it sometimes has a euphoric affect on the person, or increases their sexual desire. It's addicting to them and very hard to control.

    I don't believe, I know. However, these vampires are not supernatural creatures, they are humans who choose to live this lifestyle.

    I don't think there are actual blood sucking, people who never die kind of vampires exist, but I do know a few folks that can and do suck the "life" and positivity out of every single person they meet with their constant negativity, drama, and misery...

    Sure, vapires are real. I mean they don't suck blood, they suck energy, but they're real. Have you ever felt 'drained' after talking with somone for a while? Ever met someone who sucks the fun out of a room? Probably a vampire. Most vapires don't know they're vampires but some do.
