I do think its possible as just after this incident happened, we started getting all kinds of knowledge on new technology and I think that came from the craft that they have.

Facetiousness aside, this is probably my most favorite story. I'd like to think that this happened, but if that's the case, then it provides me with the notion that our government really is out to get us by hiding truth...all that transparency noise they're so fond of.

Fact is, I'm not sure it happened or not. Let's look at some numbers. There's a one in 10,000 (maybe more, I'll have to recheck) chance that a passenger jet will crash at our level of technology. So the chances of aliens crashing into our planet would be astronomical with their supposed level of technology.

Not saying it can't happen, but the chances are probably smaller than winning the lottery.

I really don't know what to believe! I think they may have, but it could have also been a hoax...you know how these things go! Well, I do believe in aliens, because how could earth be the only planet able to sustain life...I mean, it's a whole universe out there. probably the US testing a bomb or something but have to honestly say I don't know... don't really believe there is other life out there although G-d could have put other lifeforms out there. I'll ask when I see Him.

SOMETHING happened in Roswell in 1947. Aliens? Weather balloon crash? Whatever it was, the government scooped it up and didn't want for people to know what it was.

When I think about possible aliens coming here I always think about the technology it took them to do so. I would think that by the time they came up with this technology that they would have been able to avert crashes and have the ability to go undetected. I do believe that the world's scientists, engineers and governments have kept secret technology that produces a lot of so-called UFOs and they're happy with the fact that people believe it comes from another planet. I'm not totally convinced either way so I just wait and watch.

But I will keep an open mind.

I truly do. why else would they still be there after so long? the border on the ground is monitored better then our countries border (big BOOO to the govt) and no one drives there but everyday there are planes that take undisclosed people to and from.

I believe in life outside of Earth. We built space crafts, and I believe that aliens could do the same. But I don't know if I buy into the Roswell landing.

I have been watching Ancient Aliens on the History Channel, and some of the arguments about aliens being here in ancient Egypt times are rather convincing.

Why the heck would they want to go to Roswell, New Mexico? The UFO thing is that towns whole shtick, according to Wikipedia they didn't have anything before the supposed crash (So it is written, so say we all).
