    Actually what I think really doesn't matter. But if we are talking sin then we must be talking Bible. So what does the Bible say. It says not to murder people. It doesn't say not to murder people, except it's okay if you murder yourself. No, it says not to murder ANYONE, and that includes yourself. And if you murder yourself, guess what? You can't repent for it because you are already dead. But I'm not God. So I can't say what He might decide when you get before him. But, just my personal opinion, I wouldn't want to take the chance that I murdered myself and everything would be okay.

    I view it as being weak. There are harsh moments, it's apart of the human life. You just have to be strong enough to overcome them. You live once, once you are dead....you're dead! There so much to life that people can do.

    sin? which would infer a true religious belief? If we go that way, then suicide as a means of protest is again not a sin. Ultimately it resides with that person that has the decision.

    Not exactly okay but, if someone hates their life so much that they want to take it, then that's their decision. In terms of biblical sin, it does say "Thou Shalt Not Murder" and that obviously includes yourself, but it also says in the Bible how God gave everyone free will, and if you want to use that free will to kill yourself, then that's your decision.

    I mean, nowadays it's extremely common for people especially young teens like myself, who just wanna cut themselves and die because of their MAJOR depression. I sometimes feel that way too. The reason WHY teens want to maybe commit suicide is sometimes because of their parents and lives at home. And sometimes I think suicide maybe isn't a sin becuase once you die the pain goes away, even though relatives at home will be devastated they will all eventually see you again. But the other reason why I think it SHOULD be a sin is becuase you shouldn't die that way but it's a choice. And THAT'S my opinion. :)

    When you address sin in the first place, you must be meaning from the religious aspect. At which point, I've heard even pooping is a sin, so I'd be willing to believe suicide probably is as well.

    Since I don't buy off on religion... I can't believe anything is a sin.

    As for it being good or bad... it is neither.. it is what it is.

    Now... I often times think that if a person truly believes they would be better off dead... there may be something to what they are thinking, and maybe they are right!

    I do wish, if they are going to off themselves, that they don't make a mess of it, left for others to have to clean up. That would suck!

    Men who put themselves in suicidal circumstances to defend our freedom were not sinners. Is throwing oneself on a grenade to save his brothers a sin? Is sparing ones children thousands upon thousands of dollars in medical fees just to live another few miserable weeks a sin? Suicide is an inalienable right just as what we do with our lives is.

    I don't believe it's a sin, but I also don't think it's okay. I think suicide is the symptom of a very troubled person who is suffering immensely, either mentally, emotionally, and/or physically. My heart breaks for suicidal people.

    It probably is. I believe that a person has a right to die if they decide. If they kill themselves I do not judge them. Only they know where they are at in their life.

    someone that answer yes are too silly to get the actual and the no might someone that not care of someone condition. actually, suicide is the last living things' way to escape from something unpleasant; mentally. someone that suicidal needs someone that there to really really hear what that person said and to either console that person or do something that person wants!

    I've had a few people in my life commit suicide. One of them was my Youth Pastor and he baptised me, he was the closest man to God I've ever known in my life. I hope he's up in Heaven, he was a great man. But he addressed too many of other people's problems and never thought of himself.
