Within recent times, the police have become more of bullies with pointless stop-and-searches (with not a whole lot of people doing things to stop them), the TSA at the airports are doing foul body-searches by groping and humiliating people, the 2nd Amendment is being threatened with attempts to limit it, and the governments have forced devices in many radio stations and TV stations to make public announcements in the future, and the attempt to legalize illegal immigration.

Right about now, our rights as human beings and Americans are being threatened by the very ones we've elected to serve, lead, and protect us (or at least the majority of them). State your opinion about how bad things have gotten and what you think should be done (that does include the lies the media keeps up as well as the entertainment world).

most people are afraid to take a stance. The dui laws are very strict here. It's gotten so people would walk to the bar, then they have foot cops arresting them for public intoxication. Do they need money that bad? The airport searches have gotten way out of hand. I was very disabled at one time, and I had to remove my flip flops 7 times. What the hell can you hide in a flip flop? The illegals should be dealt with. Part of the problem is that Americans, especially teens don't want to do the jobs they illegals are doing, so we are partly to blame. As far as giving them welfare and social security, I say no way. They have almost taken over the roofing and siding and drywall businesses here by undercutting everyone because they don't pay taxes.

The general approach to crisis and/or change seems to be some variation on "I've got mine, the hell with you," "I don't want to get involved," or "That doesn't affect me so I don't need to do anything."

Everywhere I go, I feel like I'm on a junior-high playground.

Good old fashioned procrastination. The situation that confuses me is the one where the person secretly knows it is inevitable that one day they will have to deal with it, but they keep pushing to the side. Turning an inconvenient uncomfortable situation into a major problem.
