Do you believe in religion ? Yay or nay ?

    Belief systems - YES
    Spiritualism - YES
Religion - NOT NO, BUT HELL NO!!!

Taken alone, the philosophical teachings of Jesus are buddhism with a Hebrew accent– kindness, tolerance, brotherhood, love, a ruthless realism acknowledging that life is as it is here on earth, here & now. The kingdom of god, meaning goodness, is right here, where it should be. “I am what I am becoming.” That’s what the Buddha brought in. And that’s what Jesus taught. But a talking snake make a lady eat an apple, so we’re screwed. Heaven & hell were peddled so priests could rule through seduction & terror, save our souls that we never lost in the 1st place. Jesus threw a clean pass… religion ran it out of the ballpark.

Was Jesus the messiah? Was he just a good teacher or prophet? Or is it that he never even existed?
Most people have to see something to believe it before they will relinquish anything. But in religion, regardless of the religion, people are asked to believe without seeing. Most people are more willing to listen to words that tickle their ears, rather than accept cold, hard, proven fact. Hard truth can be a bitter pill.

When it comes to bull***, big-time-major-league bull****, you have to stand in awe of the all time champion of false promises & exaggerated claims - religion. Think about it! Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky, who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of 10 things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these 10 things, he has a special place full of fire & smoke & burning & torture & anguish where he will send you to live & suffer & burn & choke & scream & cry forever & ever till the end of time! But he loves you! He loves you & he needs MONEY! He always needs money! He's all powerful, all perfect, all knowing & all wise - yet somehow, he just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes & they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bull**** story! Holy ****!!!

When you can no longer understand the next generation, it's time to hand over the reigns to the next generation. The baby boomers cannot understand the next generation, the generation after that or the generation after that. These Pluto in Leos do not even care about the wants & needs of anyone else but their own generation. They refuse to hand over the reigns. They've got this idea in their heads that they can live forever. Their intentions are to hang onto the reigns with an iron fist until their great grandchildren start developing wrinkles. They've decided that they would rather destroy the world rather than give up power & control. They've developed a sneaky, subversive system. combining religion with the all mighty power of government, employing emotional blackmail, attrition & threats. Now, the Vatican & the Catholic church may be under the microscope right now, biut all the other religious branches are doing pretty much the same thing - baptist, methodist, presbyterian, agape, lutheren, 7th day adventist, scientology, mormons, jehovahs witness, etc., etc.. This is not limited to christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism & so very many more. What it comes down to is this. If they ask you for exorbitant amounts of money to hear their message, if they say they are right & every other religion is wrong, if they, if they tell you to ignore all other info in the world & listen to only what they say, they are zealots & they are very dangerous. In almost everyone of their "holy" books are verses that tell you to kill everyone who's religious views are different from theirs.

Now comes the really scary part. Have you noticed how many people that are in power stations in the U.S. alone say they are religious in one way or another? They have infilterated our government.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE LOOKS LIKE?
No one wants to hear the truth anymore, they only want to hear words that tickle their ears. The truth is, is that U.S.A is absolutely inundated with 2-faced leaders, law makers & law enforcers, It's not about "IF" anymore, but "WHEN" then U.S.A. crashes & burns & it's gonna happen a lot sooner than people think. The powers that be in this country are blown-up, selfish, greedy, pompous & irresponsible. They've adopted a luxurious lifestyle that is simply not sustainable. One word that aptly describes them is "Cupidity" - Inordinate lust & greed, especially for wealth or power. It's a betrayal by the elite - who've become too self-centered, too convinced that whatever they want must be the best thing, not only for themselves, but for everyone else. They've created a society that serves only the wealthy.
    They live by 2 rules;
#1 how to run a national treasury.
#2 how to let the needy starve.
Big business, banksters & wall street gets bailed out for making bad decisions & yet the American people & those on welfare are expected to behave responsibly. When we get towards the end of 2012, i suspect the U.S. Government is going to file for bankruptsy. One of the 1st things to happen during any crises or disaster is a run at the grocery stores. There are numerous events that can trigger panic buying; tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, snowstorms, financial crisis, food shortages, earthquakes, or worse. Disaster attracts chaos. The only people who are listened to anymore are the rich, the powerful, the beautiful & those who tell the biggest lies. So now, Do you want to know what the future looks like if our country stays on it's current path? Government enforced slavery of the people, religious enforced worship in churches a mile high & every country in the world surrounded by a reef of bones. This is what we are to the rich & powerful - gold mined from blood & meat.

Religion shouldn't rule our beliefs; our beliefs should rule our beliefs. A system of belief that requires a religion to keep it in check can hardly be considered a religion.

Religion can be good for the community socially, but when it leads to conflict, suicides, bombings and wars, it makes me question the value.

Just a thought and not to rile feathers or even respond. I do wonder if the lack of people believing in religion has led to many of the problems that go on today. Nobody is perfect and there are certainly heretics in every religious belief. Still, just being grounded in yourself and refusing to believe in God seems sad to me.

Religion that puts on a good show, and then rejects you because of a sexuality name is not a religion . It is a den of thieves. No one in their right mind would want to believe in a den of thieves. Jesus gave them the truth but they rob humans of knowing the truth contained in the KJV. Hence put on a good show, and then rejects whoever or gives guilt saying I love you but not the sex you do hoping that changes the sex that whoever likes to engage in making whoever uneasy about being in their company. The thing is religion has truth, and then perverts it with many translations wandering away from loving truths that are in the KJV. Religions are not able to differentiate from Gods law, and the religious laws that Jesus ignored like pharisaical thou shalt die, not suffer to live, and stone throwing laws.

I believe in God, but I don't believe in religion. Religion seems hateful. "Send gay people to hell for giving love! Send animals to hell because they have no soul! Send other beliefs to hell because they're different!" Stupid. I believe some of the Bible stories, like Noah's Ark and Jesus on the Cross, maybe, but I think the Bible has been translated from so many different languages and countries and versions that you can't tell which one is true. I have a lesbian older sister who loves God. I also have a dog, who is my soulmate. I don't think something without a soul can completely freak out and whine and crap all over the floor when he can't see me.

I don't know if I believe in any "higher power", but I do believe in my own ability to make things work for me when I need to. I pray, but never to any specific deity. I guess I'm kind of an odd case.

I don't believe in religion because there's no religion it's an relationship with God, some have a very strong relationship, some have a little relationship, and some don't because they heard nothing but bad stuff about God. All religion does is divide everyone's feelings about God, and starts wars. Listen having an relationship with God is just like having an relationship with a guy, girl, and if not straight then with the same gender, our parents, our families, our friends, etc.Think about it, when you are happy do you just keep it at home? or do you want everyone to know, and not care if there are some people who doesn't want to hear it, I know when I'm happy I don't just keep it at home. The only differences is that you people can't see you next to God talking to him.

I have nothing against religion, as long as you don't try to cram yours down my throat. Whatever floats your boat, and helps you cope with life's travails. Organized religion, however, simply doesn't resonate with me. It's just the way my brain is wired.

Governments, Corporations, Academic Institutions, and Religions are all parasites because the only way these institutions can exist is by people being dependent on them, they all create dependency by creating scarcity in the environment.

Religions have convinced people to believe in imaginary characters that have no evidence of existing, and have people to to buildings every Sunday to engage in superstition rituals, people that could be doing something more productive for civilization.
Religion is a waste of land
