I certainly believe in lust or obsession at first sight. Or seeing someone and applying a personality you love to them at first sight. Even an accurate feeling of "Hey, I think I'm going to spend the rest of my life with that person" at first sight. Just not love.
Love is something that grows over time, and I think it diminishes its value to say you fell head over heels in love just by looking at a person. If you don't know their personality, how can you love them?

Infatuation at first sight? Yes
Love is not a feeling that we fall into (or out of.) Love is a deliberate act of the will. We choose to love someone. Most people do not have a clue what love truly is. They confuse love, lust and infatuation. That is one reason why relationships (especially marriage) are in such a mess overall.
