I believe that you can have an instant connection with a person or be really mezmerised by a person, but I don't think you can fall in love with a sight. I feel love is more than just being stunned by someones appearence or presence or something...

It's happened to me. Several times. You can fall in love with someone just be seeing them. It's a nice feeling. They may not love you back, and you might fall out of love with them, but that doesn't mean you can't fall in love by sight.

This is usually only a hormonal response between two people, which usually fades once they really get to know one another. (Yeah, I know I'm a cynical bastard, but you don't get that way by yourself...you have lots of help!)
