Do you believe in life after death?

As a child I often had the same dream, I was being chased by Japanese soldiers.
They chase me through a jungle and I am running scared with torn bloody clothing.
I can smell the jungle and feel the heat and humidity. I see an old shack and hide in it, I hear them talking and getting closer. I am shaking with fear, they come to the door and try to open it, but I am holding the door trying to keep them from coming in. Finally they break through and a Japanese soldier stabs me to death with a bayonet. Then I wake.

I may have died in the Pacific during WW2 and was reincarnated.

Many other baby boomers may have died the same way and were reincarnated.

Do you think you lived in another time? Tell me your story.

I totally believe in that. The females in my family are known to have a sixth sense, so to start off that already puts me in the "freaks" place. I always dream with people I've never seen in my life, and being a psychology major I study how the brain functions and I can say that your brain its not capable of making someone up. So I believe I met all of those people in other lives, and in some cases I believe Im destined to meet them in my future :)!

Lots of memories and feelings of the past with regard to music and the feeling of always being in the know for certain incidents have been taking place. Many of the things that have taken place are like past events that I have relived as I know every word, action deed etc.
But that said, it may be just Deja Vu. I love being Victorian in outlook and tend to like aristocracy at minimal expenses quite a bit. Even my fashion sense is more Victorian although I love gold and glitter on clothes a lot. I am not a jewelry person.

I do believe there is some sort of life after death as i`ve experienced a few very strange happenings, i`m a very down to earth person, i do Not have a wild imagination at all.
I`m not sure about reincarnation, i do remember as a small child having frightening dreams about war in the jungle, it was so real, at that young age we did`nt have a TV so i would not have any idea about such things !!!. I did have an uncle who did serve in the far east in WW2, he died in Changi prisoner of war camp.

When my body has had enough of what life has to offer, then I will be dead.

Should my daughter remember me and speak of me I will live on and should her progeny know of me and speak of me I shall live on further.

When I am forgotten and no one speaks of me then I will be dead for ever not to return as anything other than that left by the worms.

Much has happened to me in the course of many years of my life that has gradually caused me to come to the unshakeable belief that when life eventually is extinguished in our physical body that some part of us-call it the 'Soul', the 'Spirit', whatever,-continues to exist in another realm or dimension. And further to this, I also firmly believe that after the 'Soul' has experienced a certain time -the duration of which will vary from 'Soul' to 'Soul' in this other 'realm'-then it will once more be reincarnated or 'rebirth'
in human form in an entirely different body to that which he or she possessed in their prior earthly existence.I also believe that this process of continual reincarnation will happen over the course of many, many lifetimes until the 'Soul' finally wearies of these earthly sojourns and remains in the spiritual realm (Heaven) for Infinity.

I think humans somehow find themselves in the eggs of a future relative, maybe its another reason why we like to reproduce. Our inner spirit or soul if you will, drives us to reproduce as to assure being reborn in the future.

How wonderful of you to ask. I was just thinking about her. Yes, I have a new little one. He is also a min pin but red instead of black and tan. His name is Hamish and he's quite a character. I still miss Luna like mad, but he's trying so hard to fill the hole she left in my heart. Thank you again for caring enough to ask. That means so much to me. ( I have a few tears in my eyes at this moment.)

I'm so glad you at least are familiar with the name Hamish. I watched some old television series on BBC America called Hamish McBeth and thought what a cool name! So, when I got him that's what I decided to name him. I get a lot of blank stares when I tell people his name here in the US. They want to know if it "means anything." I'll have to tell them that it means he prefers to wear kilts. :)

My father believed that. He had similar dreams too -- only with German soldiers. It was very real to him. He was fascinated with all things WWII and was born in 1944. I don't know . . . he was murdered before I got to really know what he felt. It's too bad.

I don't like to entertain thoughts of reincarnation personally, but I respect others that do entertain such things.

Thank you. You may be too young to remember this, but he wore a MIA/POW Vietnam bracelet. He was wearing it when he was killed. When it was given to me, I put it on and never took it off.

He too was fascinated by this sort of thing even though I never understood, I respected it.

my opinion, being dead will be just like before i was born, no brain to process a consciousness therefore it won't matter if there is nothing, because it will simply be irrelevant
