It is amazing how teenagers know a lot more than they should, for example they have they're own veiws in society, they have opinions on governments etc. They are alowed to have sex, buy mobile phones, join the military, and work so why shouldn't they be aloud to vote?

ParkMan 2012/07/05 19:33:15no+3I don't doubt that 16 year olds can make a reasoned decision about why they would choose one elected official or another. However, very few 16 year old have had to grapple with the kinds of issues that drives most political choices. I fear that 16 year olds would be swayed by grand promises or simple pandering to popular norms. Our country needs more people making reasoned choices about whom to elect, and fewer people making these kinds of emotional choices.

Maturity is something that is definitely needed to make decisions about and 16 year olds have not even begun to finish that part of their development.
Seems you DON'T know more than you should after all!!!
PS: The reason democrats love to pander to the young is because they know you aren't ready yet and most of the youth vote Democrat because of their ignorance.
So a 18 yearold voting has lots of problems determining truth. There are Teachers who never abandoned Marxism. They believe if you give it oine more try it will work this time.... These are the stupid believers in an impossibility.
Like spending your way to prosperity. A Democrat Nostrum that has bankrupt America and you wil be paying taxes for it the next 200years or so. Thank you Obama
