Yesterday as part of a festival in my local town a bunch of teenage girls from the surrounding high schools put on a dance show around lunchtime. They were gyrating and grinding to club anthems with dirty lyrics, snd enacting sexy poses to the lyrics. They were dressed like sluts and wearing full make up

Because, honestly the person in charge agreed with this. I don't like the idea of doing that but it was for entertainment and no-one put a stop to it.

Yes

If it was part of the entertainment it was obviously approved. Who are you to object to what was scheduled. Current music and dance is very provocative, just like it was when I was a teenager to my parents.

Whoever was in charge of the show should have stopped it if it was that bad. It sounds as if there was no discussion of the dance/music beforehand or the girls came in under the radar.
