I'm not a fan. I think we've always had the right to defend ourselves. I think some will take the imminent threat part too far and shootings like the Zimmerman fiasco will happen more often. Just MY opinion folks.

Yes, yes, yes and YES! I shouldn't be prosecuted for temporarily or even permanently immobilizing a would-be murderer or assailant, even with deadly force, after the fact in a court of jokes, and thrown in prison for the rest of my life (or fined out of any hopes of having a life even if I'm not thrown in prison for the rest of my life, or executed) for simply protecting and defending my life (or my hypothetical family's lives), limb or property from scum criminals and thugs who would endeavor to rob me of any of the aforementioned!

MARXIST (I REFUSE TO USE ANY CRYPTIC PSEUDONYM'S THEREOF) "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS" IS KILLING THIS NATION!

Not the way they seem to be written. It leaves far to much to chance. If someone has broken into your house is one thing. If you are following some kid through a neighborhood is another.

Puts the criminal and the victim on even ground. You break in to my house, I will shoot you. End of story. It's not a blank check to shoot someone every chance you get. Some states self defense laws state that you cannot use any more force than what is used against you.

Self-defense already exists, and you can protect yourself through that proven methodology.

    Take care,

I see more and more people being killed and those that commit the act of murder getting away with it!

i can see both sides and I don't know what I'd do. But it is personal when you know someone, possibly innocent, died or someone, possibly innocent, is arrested.

No, I'm afraid there will be more innocent people killed like Trayvon Martin.

Absolutely. The unfortunate truth is that we have so many laws that favor the criminal that we need this sort of law to counter the others.
