KATIE, has been a very busy girl putting her life back in order after leaving the scientologist Tom Cruise. She has hired a new security team. She has went back to her own publicist.
"
Along with the Cartier diamond-studded wedding band that she had been wearing as recently as last week, Holmes was also free of some other Cruise baggage:

- She returned to her premarriage mouthpiece, Leslie Sloane at BWR, sacking the publicist she had worked with since 2007.

- She fired her husband’s security team, which had guarded her as recently as last week, TMZ reported. According to the website, the bodyguard and driver had worked for Cruise for years, even before he met Holmes, and had followed her every move while in New York.

- The actress was convinced Cruise planned to prep their young daughter Suri for an early entrance into the ultrazealous Scientology group called Sea Org, leaving her no choice but to cut ties, TMZ reported.

And I think she faces a pretty tough time. Scientology is notorious for vexatious litigation and pursuing people any way they can to destroy them. It's their policy of "fair game".
Hopefully if they try it on Kate they will be exposed.

Sometimes I yearn for the tyranny of instant Karma. It's just a ficticious scenario, of course, but just imagine a world in which life instantly punishes or rewards people according to how well they treat others. In THIS life. No reincarnation stuff.
I'm not sure whether it would be an utopia because people would be nice to each other, or a dsytopia because people lived in constant fear of punishment.
Then again, most religious people already do live in constant fear of punishment.

    Just musing a bit... :)

I hope Mrs. Cruise is very, VERY careful. These are dangerous people and she has placed herself in a very dangerous position. I pray for her and her daughter's safety as the Scientologists will not be pleased with the loss of their 'golden child' and the breakup of their 'icon's' marriage. History shows how dangerous they can be.

The Church of Scientology recognises itself as a cult, why shouldn't we?

I don't know enough about it. Hollywood couples split all the time, doesn't mean it's some kind of church conspiracy
