Of course they are. An older gay man explained it to me this way: He said, simply, Why would I have chosen to be this way at a time when homosexuals were so despised? We could be arrested for who we were. We could be beaten to death and everybody would look the other way and say "He deserved it." We were considered vile, disgusting, perverted, mentally ill deviants. We were disowned by many of our families and ostracized in the communities where we grew up. Why the HELL would I have chosen that?

Because he valued his perversion's pleasures more than family, social approval or life itself.

Do you agree that the famous statement "Give me liberty or give me death" is irrelevant? Of course not. Because that would be ridiculous. Lifestyle can be more important than life itself and I am one who values some lifestyle choices more than my life. My choices are the right to pray where and when I will, to speak my heart and mind when and where I will.

Now, now Janet. I'm only speaking the truth. I don't hate anybody and I really love gay and lesbian people too much to cheer them on as they march merrily into personal self destruction and drag a portion of our culture down with them. I didn't choose to be a sinner either but I keep fighting all those tendencies based on an understanding that my desires can and will destroy me if I follow them just because I like doing them.

NEITHER Sexuality nor religion determine how productive, good, or helpful to his fellow man an individual will be. I'm living proof.

This is harmful to our society on several levels. Starting with the facts of shortened life spans, increased health costs, decreased procreation rates, and increased sexually motivated criminal activity for those who self identify as homosexuals. Not every homosexual. Of course not, no more than every conservative is a closet homosexual homophobe, but the stats are there and available to study. If you want to live your lifestyle in peace, great for you, but it saddens me. If you want me to accept and legitimize your lifestyle, sorry I just cannot accomodate it. That isn't hate, that is self preservation.

Same thing was said about dating or marrying someone of color back in the days.

Legislation requiring you and your kids to be indoctrinated into legitimization of the perversion is riding on it. Special protections and privilege for the chosen lifestyle legislated into our culture rests on it. Doesn't sound so threatening until you see exactly what that means. Get into an altercation with a homosexual and you can be charged with a hate crime and be convicted with 'special circumstance' enhancements. Have fisting explained by state run school staff to your 12 year old kids.

Yes they are human beings, just like rapist, murders, thieves and child abusers etc.....BUT it is a choice they make.

rapists, murderers, thieves, child abusers ect make that choice, concsiously or not...homosexuals are born the way they are...they shouldnt be judged for that..are you saying that a man that loves another man is in the same category as a man that murders someone?

Same thing can be said for straight people.

I use to think that gays might be born that way. Now I am absolutely sure that most are not. Their are too many finding in the link between soy & soy products to elevated estrogen in men & women. BPA products have also been link to "a change in sexual behavior". These combinations are what is sparking the increase in the gay population. The only issue is that gay people don't want to hear it. They think they are normal. They are about as normal as a person with a sever pyschosis. Most gays if not all are scared of the simple truth that they might have a hormonal imbalance. I will prove articles & medical proof as I come to find more & more each month.
