Do we live in a rape culture in America?

According to FBI stats, the most vulnerable segment of our society is young women aged 18 to 24. This has me very concerned as I have 3 granddaughters ages 9, 17 and 22. 1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime (14.8% completed rape; 2.8% attempted rape).¹

On the other side of the issue, if I had male grandkids, I would be very concerned about false rape accusations. If you happen to be a young, straight white male in America today, you must be very aware of getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just ask the 3 young men accused of rape by a black stripper they hired to perform at their frat house. Their names and faces made headlines and their accuser had her identity with held.

So even if you're innocent , the mere accusation can ruin your life. So if you are a young straight white male, stick to one girlfriend. If you need to stray, just get a porn tape. There is no chance of having a tape accuse you of rape. Even though all or even not most girls would accuse falsely, you're playing Russian Roulette with your future. Ask any guy accused of false rape and none thought it could ever happen to them.}

One fact most people ignore, because the don't usually report it, is the amount of rape that happens to men in our prison systems.

Yes I've read where there is more male rape in prison than rape of women in the general population. And yeah, I know there are a very few small number of innocent guys in jail but 99.9.% really are guilty. And I have to be honest, what these convicts get in jail, they deserve. And there is more illegal drug use in prison than in the general population too. So bottom line, screw the convicts, and let's focus our attention to our daughters, granddaughters and wives.

Yeah a lot of people in jail deserve some kind of punishment but some people are in prison for something as simple as driving without a license. People like that don't deserve to be raped. The amount of rape in this country has gone up for one major reason. The clothes women wear. Just make sure your female family members don't walk around looking like hookers or wear clothes that don't really cover anything.

Rape of women can never be justified. Period! There is no one in prison for driving without a license.

Yes there is. My neighbor in gainesville went to prison for it and now my dad is gonna end up in there for driving without a license.
