Do stressed out men prefer heavier women? Apparently so, according to a study reported by Time magazine. The study, published in the journal PLoS ONE, reports that "when men were placed in stressful situations, then asked to rate the attractiveness of women of varying body sizes, they tended to prefer beefier frames, compared with unstressed men whose tastes skewed thinner."
“This suggests that our body size preferences are not innate, but are flexible,” said study co-author Martin Tovée of Newcastle University in the U.K., in an email, noting that they may be influenced by our particular environment and resources.

It never fells to amaze me how some women.., No some females assumes they have the right to defind the value of men... That implies..., women are perfect and men fall short of measuring up to a woman's worth... I say females.., because in my mind a real woman would not be so presumptuous as to assume what determines a real man.., that is of course she is God..I'm just say...! JOMO
a real man will love/like/be attracted to a woman for more than a size 00 pant and ddd boobs. those women aren't a real description of the rest of the world. and I didn't say anything about me in this. I just mean that wanting to date supermodels and only supermodels is a very boyish fantasy. that's all
Although it might happen somewhere in the world.., I can honestly say I have never heard a man apply this term to women "A REAL WOMAN" as to imply she wasn't worthy of his presence..I hope you under my point...JOMO
If they (men) are stressed out because they are use to having a woman in their life and now find themselves companion challenged.., in other words without a woman in their life., then It is very possible a woman of any size might fit the bill.
I'm not so sure that is the case in every situation though..., I for one am recovering from a breakup of a 18 year marriage.. And before I will settle for just having a woman that do not meet the body type I prefer.., I would rather be alone... To do otherwise would not be fair to her or me... Although I do not dislike plus size women.., I do not care to have one for a personal intimate relationship. And believe me.., it is very stressful being without an intimate relationship once you become accustom to having someone in your life...
So bottom line. heavy size women might be preferred by some stressed out men.., but not for this one...I'm just saying...JOMO
Women prefer tall men because it makes them feel more feminine and protected, it is a natural preference (I speak btw as shorter man who gets it and accepts it and does fine anyway). Men prefer slimmer more petite women for the exact (corollary) reasons.
Just a stogie, maybe a cold one, and a bloody vidya or gruesome/depressing book.
