Do stressed out men prefer heavier women? Apparently so, according to a study reported by Time magazine. The study, published in the journal PLoS ONE, reports that "when men were placed in stressful situations, then asked to rate the attractiveness of women of varying body sizes, they tended to prefer beefier frames, compared with unstressed men whose tastes skewed thinner."
“This suggests that our body size preferences are not innate, but are flexible,” said study co-author Martin Tovée of Newcastle University in the U.K., in an email, noting that they may be influenced by our particular environment and resources.

HEALTHLAND.TIME.COM reports:
Most men prefer leggy and lean women, Gisele Bündchen lookalikes, right? Not necessarily. In fact, the body type that a man finds attractive can change depending on his environment and circumstances, a new study finds: when under stress, for instance, men prefer heavier women.

- AM 2012/08/10 20:29:32No+4I'm calling BS on this one. Some men prefer heavier women and some don't.Would that then mean once his life became easier he would dump her for a thinner woman? I know I hold true to type I like TDH men with weight proportionate that doesn't vary ,never has.As to Giselle Bundchen legs I'm a heterosexual woman and will readily admit the woman has thighs to die for and they're not skinny they're gorgeous.

A woman who looks like that would never drink beer. Way too fattening.reply - smitty Rob 2012/08/13 14:41:54
Not true. In college dated many that looked like. Always had a beer or two with them as well. We worked out in the college gym together. We would go to the "beer" room to drink a beer before working out. It was our "protein" drink.reply - Max7 2012/08/10 20:07:21No+2What does her size have to do with anything???reply
