Do "scene kids" piss anyone else off?

Style is a personal reference. Personality has NOTHING to do with it. I am guessing scenekids just don't accept you because you are so narrow minded and pathetic to judge. Scenekids are not particular on who they hang out with. But I know I would steer clear from you, Hun. I think anyone would because you hate instead of PLUR. Sometimes.. I mean I've been friends with people with hair that looks 'scene' but only people that are obnoxious and just kinda stay away from the croud or trying to be funny/cool. But screamo.. Not. Scene. I can see Blood On The Dance Floor being scene, though.

This is incredibly rude I am a scene kid and over have of this is wrong. Here are all the wrong parts and the truth of it... How they act in public with all their little friends. They yell and generally act obnoxious. Believe me, most people don't appreciate the F-bomb dropped every four seconds at the top of your lungs in front of their kids... We don't hardly drop the F-bomb yes we are loud but not obnoxious.... The hole Rowe thing so wrong...Language. The very worst of which is 'rawr'. Followed closely by 'mai', 'meh', 'mah', 'lyk', 'atm', and others....I never use any of these words... You want to talk about much write and the levels in others why don't you muncher. P.S. you used more bad words in this then I use in a day so back off and muncher

as Being a "scene kid" i know that most of this stuff isnt true. I mean yes we may look and act different but were people too. Also we dont cut for attention we cut because its true no one does understand us we are a mystery unsolved. We like being different and we dont just hang out with other fellow scenes we hang out with the norms too. Also most of us dont dress slutty trust me and there are bigger issues then us scenes so get a life and do a report on something that really matters leave us scene kids alone we dont go around talking about how different you guys are to us like damn.

Don't worry about it. The older generation picking on the teenage generation has been happening since the first teens. In my teens (the 1980s) they got after us for our music, hairstyles, etc., etc. It quit bugging me when I stumbled across the following quote by Socrates: "Children today are tyrants. They contradict their parents, gobble their food and tyrannize their teachers." When someone gives you a bad time for being "scene kid" just smile politely and quote Socrates in a very understanding tone of voice. LOL (As the mother of young children, I will say that I do not appreciate teens swearing around my children, but I agree with you - there are plenty of bigger issues then how the current generation of teens dress.)

To classify all people who cut as trying to get attention, is generalizing and unfair to the kids who try to keep it a secret from everyone. Maybe some people hate your music or your clothes, but they don't put it on the internet and bitch about how stupid or attention seeking you are. Learn to respect people and the things they like. You don't have to like it but don't waste your time expressing your inaccurate opinion. Get to know people before you put a label on them!!

Hey. If you hate them with their, "I hate everything" attitude, then why did you post a whole article about how much you hate them, including making a mediocure name for them? If you're a fun person, than you don't sit around thinking about all the stuff that you don't like. Can I ask you a question? How do these type of people REALLY effect your life in a noticable fashion? They don't do anything to you, so don't make a stupid article about them. What if you were doing absolutely nothing to hurt anybody's feelings, or annoy them, but then they go off and write a imbecelic article about YOU? Huh? I'm not a scene kid, but it wouldn't be wrong to be one. All they do is be young, and free, and colourful, and fun, and expressive, and what THEY want to be. They don't sit around at their computer and write about someone. Just drop it, and get along. And try to be grateful for things. Not mad. This was a waste to hate on a group of people who do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO YOU. I hope you're proud. And I hope you learn to stop wasting your time being rude to good people on the internet.

I fully believe in self expression and personally I find some scen kids ridiculously hot. Scene kids are not the only people to dress slutty or to act abnoxious in public. Why yes some are over the top attempting to use their face to get famous on the Internet. But you can't hate someone for dressing as they like or acting as they please. People will present themselves as they want to be seen so if they look slutty let them they will get the judgment coming to them. Also not all of your comments are true. So please reconsider doing something as mean and hateful as this.

If you talk like that people are going to think badly about scene kids. I have no problem with people dressing "scene" but for people who do, it just feeds their idea of scene kids being pricks. Just a thought.

They can get to a point where it's WAY too much, but other than that, they can be really awesome people. I suppose it depends of the person....I chose the wrong answerT^T

it isn't so much the fashion as it is the person who's wearing it

there are some nice scene kids and some who are freaks that fit your description.

i don't mind the fashion, and while i am not a scene kid in the slightest, i hang out with a bunch of them because of common interest, and the ones i'm friends with are pretty cool and non exclusive.

the annoying ones are the middle school, lol sorry if that sounds ageist but that's just a trend i noticed; the younger then scene kid the more annoying they are.

aren't they called emo's too? i have no idea really what the hell this punk culture group is about but i will say some of the girls have cut hair styles and interesting color patterns.

Obnoxious people piss me off. Some scene kids are obnoxious, some are not, that's just a general rule about people. I prefer to get to know someone before I make a judgement of them as an individual, not the trend they follow.
