Do people really love each other?

Love is a word that describes a strong emotional feeling. Couples seem to love each other at first then they seem to get bored with their partner sexually after a few years. Many couples stop having sex regularly and sort of treat each other like roommates. Fifty percent of first time marriages fail within the first 5 years. Is it really love that keeps the other 50% of marriages together or is it something else like money maybe or even laziness to hit the single seen.

Some fit each of these categories and likely a few others.

Contrary to popular understanding, Love is not a feeling. It's an act of the will. The feelings that people confuse for love are really infatuation and/or lust.
