Do most good looking girls go for the good looking popular boys and why

because the popular guys are coming to them mostly so the good looking girls have to chase after them.

Not always, mate. Some are shallow enough to care only about looks, but most like confidence above appearance. I'm nothing special to look at, but my girlfriend, of one year now, is incredibly hot. Maybe she liked me because when we met I was quite drunk, so I had absolutely no fear!!

i'm not being concieted or anything but i guess 'im good looking but i dont go out with guys because of how cute they are i like them for their personality and if i can have fun with them and be myself around them... i've dated some not so cute guys and people always ask why im dating them...

Most girls, regardless of how attractive they are, go for good looking guys. If a guy is good looking more girls like him and he becomes popular. He also has his pick of girls and is likely to pick a good looking one.

No. Theres a guy in my town who's small, chubby spotty and unattractive. He has gone out with every good looking girl there is in the town! I have even dated the lad:-P its animal magnetism or else hypnosis...either way I'm telling u if he can do it then every guy out there can

Because they are first attracted by looks. I really don't care as much as others. Personality draws me in.

In high school its not about who your dating but at what status the people you align yourself are. That's why it is rare for the nerd to get the babe. Simply put at that age looks are more important.

Girls that age are worried about their status. High school is Shallow City.

That's why the best schools separate the sexes for most of the day. The most contact you have, is an all-boys school and an all-girls school running class exchanges, along with the obvious sports corroboration...

This is a generalization that usually holds true. I found it more true back in my high school days. There are many that still feel this way. Why? You will have to ask the girls that one.

I cant stand popular guys cuz most of the time that popularity goes to their already swollen heads. Most of em think theyre bigger and better than everone else and a lot of em bully kids who are less popular than them. At least thats the way it is in my town. I prefer to date the sweet gentlemen like the guy i'm with now and leave the popular jocks for the prissy preps

Because that is what they think they want,and then find out it is quite the opposite. The guy the girl wants is an ahole and if said girl had just gone with the average guy, he would treat her the way she should be treated.

I reckon they do if they're still immature and shallow and are more concerned with their status in the social hierarchy that, of course, involves them and their female peers. When they've been hit by some hard knocks in life, this can freshen their perspective on life and they then might be more likely to be attracted to average nice guys than popular guys. But, this is not always the case.
