An example: A guy I met while I was in a study group told the group that his wife has a greasy mouth. He said he can handle it but told her that he was concerned about how it would go over in public. That's why I check mine. When her mouth gets loose I check her. Some time later he told me that they were shopping and that when they shop, they'll get to a certain point then she gets in line and sends him out to get the rest of the items on the list. Sometimes, when he gets the wrong item she'll tell him and he'll go back to get the right item. Sometimes she'll get smart with him. One time she got smart with him and this big dude was standing nearby with his girl and said out loud "that's what wrong with those n-g-er bitches, they always want to wear the pants. Total disrespect. His wife was being disrespectful and the guy was too. He said he had to step to the guy and he wouldn't apologize and the wound up mixing it up. The problem was, though, he was on probation and after the incident had to run. On the way home, he said his wife said, Oh My God, now I see what you mean. But he could have gotten locked up on a parole violation, all over her greasy mouth.

Makes me wonder what he saw in her so much that he wished to be married to her. You can correct someone without being callous or condescending.

After 30 years with my (presently) ex-husband we NEV-VAH did that in public and rarely in private. Sure we had arguments and disagreements, but on an adult level. I can't imagine the embarrassment from all the people over-hearing the childishness.

We did too but never asked. He had his problems too though. Although, sometimes, unless you're real good and very experienced in reading people, some people can be very crafty and capable of disguising their dark side. And if you don't know how to test them, they can fool you. Mine did. A counselor, who was actually her counselor and I talked about it. And once you get fooled once, it's hard to get fooled again. But I was determined to raise my twin sons like my daddy raised me. IT HAS BEEN ROUGH! I look back and she gave me signs but I didn't know how to read them. I sure do now. RUN!!! We both come from large families with both parents (I knew both sets of my grandparents and even 1 great grand mother and father) aunts, uncles, siblings and cousins, etc. and I didn't think that it wouldn't be that bad. I mean, after all, everyone has problems. BUT DAMN! But I think because I have been there for my sons, they will be ok. I constantly give them good relationship tips. And in this world, you are judged by the company that you keep.

Guys like challenges and nice girls are no challenge especially too nice. I have more guys chase me because I am both mean and nice. I think if the girl has a good mix and keeps him on edge of his seat then it will make him stay. Its how I've kept my boyfriends lol.

Many guys are willing to overlook ugliness in exchange for something else which I won't say what it is. But that lasts only so long and wears out fast.

More guys I know are more into the innocent, submissive type, or the kind that speaks her mind, but still listens to her partner.
Mean girls are the ones guys always talk about when they brag about their "conquests" and they are the ones that they are happy to have a one night stand with, then leave, but they aren't the kind that most guys want to have a long term relationship with.
Some guys, however, really get off on the fighting and arguing. To them I say "Have at it."

Nope. Playing games and being bitchy is a huge turnoff. It generally implies a tendency to be unhappy and high maintenance, neither of which are attractive.

The hard to get factor has some allure but someone who belittles another to make themselves feel better is a serious turn off.

I prefer a challenge. If i have to hold her down, to calm her down. Im interested....i call it comfort power. Unfortunately these girls usually have problems and aren't naturally hard asses. I meant to clock NO!!! -_-

Also, why would a guy want to be with a girl that he has to constantly battle to keep from dominating him? That is just crazy..

And really, I don't look up to them in any way, shape, or form. They themselves make it sound fun and glamorous, therefore I believe I am allowed to laugh.

Totally Yes! Girls, you need to read "Why men love bitches".... I was a "nice " girl until now, and now that I've taken cues from that book, my romantic life has completely changed. Yes, sadly, men don't like it when you give them too much. Remember this ladies: the less you give them, the more they want!! That is 100% true - spread the gospel! Quit allowing guys to take advantage of us, emotionally and sexually!
