Having a good relationship first and then sex is by far more preferable. If a man loves women then having a romantic relationship is 90% of the enjoyment of it. It really all depends on the man of course and how much he cares for her.

I can only judge by experience but yes I do believe men are as desirous of a relationship .What's difficult is finding that person worthy. Be it male or female good people who know what they want, forthright in what it takes to achieve it,I've yet to meet since being single.

As a married woman with a good line of communication with her hubby, I'd have to say 'Yes' in his case. He dislikes leaving home and me for business trips, and turns down half the offers/invitations of Guy's Nights.

Hardly.
I use 'Husband' as a title--in the same way other women say 'Master'.
We're husband & wife, but also friends, and confidants.
Maybe it's because we both have NO family whatsoever aside from each other--and yes, we've invested a lot of time and money in searching.
In any case, when he's home he's relaxed, happy, and such--so, I'd have to say 'Yes'.

I DO count myself as a very lucky woman and do NOT take him for granted!!
The man has my B-day and our Anniversary tattooed on the inside of his left wrist, so his watchband hides it, but easy to see when it's off, like when washing his hands. ;-)

There are many motivators, sex is only one of them. Also try friendship, companionship, money, somebody to keep house if they are into that, wanting kids, there are many reasons but I think every man and his reasons are individual just like the man.

This isn't a good question because it's kind of stereotypical. All men are not sex chasing douches. There are quite a few good guys in this world that do stay in relationships just for the girl they're with, regardless of the sex.

I think that men get something out of it besides sex. My ex has to have a new relationship on the horizon before he'll quit the old one. If he doesn't and gets dumped, it's the end of the world to him.

I'm waiting till marriage for sex anyway, so the relationship is the first and primary focus. I guess I do get the benefit of getting hugs and kisses though. Still, not as important as the relationship.

You're preaching to the choir. My husband was a wonderful man. We were lucky to have the best of it all, A good relationship, a great friendship, a lot of respect for each other, a good sex life, and similar goals and aspirations. He was strong and independent, and I respected him and loved him so much.

If I'm in a relationship for a while There's an ebb and flow when it comes to sex. So If the Relationship isn't working out well. It will be destroyed when the Sex dwindles down.

In my experience with guys I've dated as well as family and guys that I'm friends with...it depends. Most guys I know are equally into relationships and sex as girls are. We all like both! I find that my friends that focus only on sex, only have sex. Meaning, they don't bother with the relationship if they don't want that. They just find one night stands or friends with benefits type of situations. Personally, and I think this is the case for most people, I enjoy the relationship just as much. You need sex for a good relationship and (usually) a strong relationship makes the sex better as well. They compliment each other.
