Do high schools push sports over learning?

    I think so if the gal or guy is in the high school yrs and show promise to get then a ticket in to a four yr collage, yes the grade get put aside

    They probably do.
    But I went to a school so large that we had to play 6 man football.
    We are coming up on our anniversary, That's right 50 years.

    Sports is usually where the money is... Unfortunately it is a higher priority in most cases since it brings in the most donations, to help fund everything else

    When I was in school, football was king. It still is in high school. Academics were secondary, and I believe still are.
