My dogs are my fur children and I treat them with great love and respect. They are very obedient (with just training from me) and they love other people and dogs. Yes...they are my family. See my pic. - that's my female corgi. I also have a male corgi. Best dogs ever.
Part of the family... most definitely. My dog has been a calming influence in our household... everyone loves him. When my son comes home on leave from the Army, it is such a joy to see him together with our dog. When he gets down on the floor with him and hugs him, his face becomes very peaceful and the smile is priceless. For a moment, all the pain and sadness of his time overseas seems to leave him. They have been best buds for nearly 16 years now.
To me, he's the dearest little boy! I love him to pieces and am so grateful for the joy he brings to our lives.
Silly question. Yes of course the are part of the family! these are living breathing animals who look to youwith all the love in the world, no matter how bad your day there they are just full of kisses and tails wagging,Happy, Happy, Next thiong you are Happy, Happy too!
Family. They aren't "objects" that we own. They are living beings that we accept into our home with the agreement that we will be responsible for their health and well-being. What is the difference between an animal living in our home and "just animals"? Is a stray dog "just an animal"? What does that mean?
I consider my cat as part of the family, she has her own Santa's hat with a cute little paw print on it and her own Christmas stocking I hang at the fireplace. She also got a new catnip toy for her Christmas gift. Now my Husband... he just consider her as pet/animal.
To me, he's the dearest little boy! I love him to pieces and am so grateful for the joy he brings to our lives.
