Professional computer gamers have the reactions of fighter pilots but the bodies of 60-year-old chain smokers, according to tests comparing them with international athletes.
One leading gamer in his twenties appeared to be slim and healthy with a physique similar to an endurance athlete. But tests revealed he in fact had the lung function and aerobic fitness of a heavy smoker in his sixties, the U.K.’s Telegraph reported.
Dr. Dominic Micklewright, from the University of Essex, blamed the gaming lifestyle of spending 10 hours a day in front a computer screen.
This makes us very nervous. While we’re not a professional gamer by any means, we often spend 10 hours a day at our computer! Time to join the gym.

Scientific Bias gone amok, just like East Anglica and Global Warming left out the coldest years from the data to make it hotter. They just didn't leave it out, they deleted it.
yeah i am getting a bit unfit...
but i need to beat Gannon and save Hyrule!
haha
You don't just move your arms... well, it depends on what you are playing. A good sword fighting game like Red Steel will get someone out of breath and sweating. Wii Fit has yoga and strength training exercises, and a hula hoop game that requires you to sway your hips. Some games require you to bend your knees, step around, swing your arms around with some significant force.
Gyms are for people who don't do real activities... I'd rather go hiking.
