But i have Seen many a Christian Do this

James the Preacher Picketing American Atheist Convention, Iowa 2011
This man is standing in a Pagan Wiccan communitty
While yes he does have Free Speech he is Screaming and insulting the Pagan Community calling us satan worshippers
WE DO NOT WORSHIP SATAN
We worship a mother Goddess and Father God
after 2 hours of them Ranting this is one Residents response

And I have met lots of Christians and only about ten percent of them hated me...
Hate goes both ways.
It certainly seems that way here on SodaHead. Judaism and Islam seem tied for number two.
This Pure Land Buddhist has waited for an attack from the Atheists. However, all I've seen is praise for my religion from Atheists. It could be that the Atheists don't really understand Buddhism.
In my experience, Buddhists are less judgmental. So are Pagans and Taoists. And they are certainly less hateful. I'm sure there are exceptions, but so far I've never come across them.
Yes. I've received the, 'If you're not one of us, then you have no morals,' message from Fundamentalist Christians and minority, non LDS, Mormons. I have not received anything like that from other types of Christians, including Catholics and mainstream Protestants.
I've been told that Fundamentalist Muslims are also this bigoted, though I have not seen it.

You mention "Taoists." Are there any here on SodaHead?
I've been judged by every breed of Christian, and Muslim, and Jew. It seems like the Abrahamic religions are the worst.
Also any observant people will have noticed that Jews, Wiccans and Buddhists among others don't try top push their religion on us and don't tell us that we're horrible, vile people, we tend to return the favour and leave them alone. While atheists can often come across passive aggressive Christians.
Really it's a matter of the predominant...
If the Western world was predominantly Muslim, we would be seeing the same influences. I do not believe the flavor or religion has anything to do with it (speaking as an atheist).
And of course, you have to remember eveeryone in the west seems to oppress islam. Well, atleast the vocal ones.
that is the business of religion...
They seem to think it's their way or no way.
I think part of the problem is really a desire of christians to be persecuted by others.
