You mean this whole time they haven't? I always thought you could grab a brew in their restaurants. It's about time. Contrary to Americas cultural taboos, drinking a beer in front of your kid will not make them an alcoholic.

The characters drank alcohol in the Disney movies... why not in the Disney park?

Disney World is now how many miles? That's right, miles of land and nothing but Disney World. People are starting to stay closer, because there's just too much to see. The closer people stay, the less driving they do. Depending where they are staying, they have to do no driving at all. So, so I see little problem with that and responsible adults.
Heck, with the size of Disney World, people should have saw it coming.

Hate to see kids subjected to intoxicated idiot adults at a place that's supposed to be about a family experience. Is Disney going to take the heat if some parent has too many and kills the family on the way home? Just a bad idea all around. There are enough places to drink, Disney doesn't need to be one.

So don't get intoxicated. One or two drinks over dinner will not intoxicate you unless you were born with the liver of a hummingbird. If you do have the liver of a humming bird, then you probably should be in a hospital, not Disneyland.

Not thrilled, this is a place for children, not a place to get tanked.

Now that I've thought about it, I don't think it will be a problem. Have you seen the prices at Disney? Can you imagine how much a beer would cost?

    More like expected.

With all of the goofy stuff they come up with, including Goofy himself, you knew they had to be using some kind of drug somewhere along the line. It only makes sense that they'd want to share.

Next they might lobby to have the legal age limit to drink alcohol lowered to 12.

As long as it is only ONE drink per patron per day. Stamp on the wrist in indelible ink for that date.

That's an awfully long day. They want me to take more than one meal there right? Sorry, but I'd rather have a beer than a Coca Cola. Coke rots my teeth.

It'a meant to be a place for children... why is alcohol even needed there?

Why is it assumed that someone having a drink or two is somehow going to turn the place into decay? I'm going to go out on a limb and say here that Disney is not going to allow people to get tanked and act like idiots.

So? What's that got to do with anything at all? Most people can hold their liquor for a drink or two.

I haven't. And to be honest I think it's probably a bad idea (the booze). It seems like it should be a place for kids and geared towards them alone, but people keep telling me it great for adults.
