Nothing wrong in watching the awards shows.....Daniel Day Lewis made history to win 3 Oscars now in the same category ....I saw Les Mis....I saw Lincoln ...and felt there were good awards given out....Argo does look like a pretty cool movie....I liked what Ben A said in his speech....I didn't really think I would ever make it back here but I did ....but it was hard.....see actors aren't just people that make big money.....it is an art and it is work.....so I didn't have a problem watching someone congratulate the actors and directors and the little guys in the movies on a job well done....

Seeing we saw all but two movies of course we watched It as entertainment, we had no hidden agenda or political statement to make or some Hollywood conspiracy theory or a dislike of the whole industry, yada yada yada Just watched it and enjoyed most of it.

I did watch, but mostly to hear the hosts jokes. I thought he was outrageously funny, especially the joke about Chris and Rhianna. Loved the sarcasm.

It wasn't the best or the worst. I saw less than a couple dozen films this year. Only two of them were nominated for anything, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Anna Karenina. Beasts was one of the most original films I have seen in my life. The little girl is wonderful. AK was simply a vintage fashion show with no substance. I love Kira Knightly but I have seen her do much, much better.
