Back when I was a child if my parents even "thought" that I might throw a tantrum I got the living hell whipped out of me.

If they "thought" that I was "about" to talk back, I got the living hell whipped out of me.

Discipline was fast, sure and painful when I grew up.

I was quite glad to be off and on my own after graduation.

If I would have fallen out on the floor like that,my Mama would have kicked me up and across the goal post of my canopy bed!And then made me eat that hot gourmet meal in my bedroom!Sure kids think they've got it bad,but most don't know what bad looks like,just a bad attitude is all!LOL

My dad was a Green Beret Sergeant First Class who was later commissioned and retired as a Major. Tough man and no nonsense allowed.

Sometimes, not as much as my younger sister though. I learned quick though, especially when my mom said the infamous line, "Keep crying and I'm give you something to cry about!" I instantly shut up after a few trials.

I honestly don't remember any... but, I know little ones do this... but I also know my Mom was zero tolerance of anything and everything...(she did not want to be a Mom...) so if I tried it, I probably did not get too far. :)
