"What we eat has a dramatic impact on levels of pain in the body," says
Beth Reardon,M.S.,R.D., a nuttritionist at Duke Integrative Medicine at
Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Seven super foods that fight Arthritis, Backaches, and more.
Red Grapes...
Contain resveratrol, a powerful compound that blocks
the enzymes that contribute to tissue degeneration.
Ginger...
Is a digestive aid but also an effective painkiller as it
blocks an enzyme that's a key compnent of the
inflammatory process.
Soy....
It's isoflavones, which are plant hormones, reduce knee
pain caused by Osteoarthritis by 30%.
Cherries....
High amounts of antioxidants called anthocyanins are
the key to this pain killer.
Turmeric...
It also seems to inhibit the destruction of joints from
arthritis.
Coffee....
Moderate doses (2 cups) reduces post-workout pain
by almost 50% according to recent Researchers of
the University of Georgia.
Fish...
Now we all know that the Omega-3 fatty acids help
keep our heart & eyes in shape but they may also
reduce the pain of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Migraines,
and certain Autoimmune Diseases. Omega-3 can be
substituted for anti-inflamatory drugs with no side
effects..found by Joesph C. Maroon,M.D., a
clinical Professor in the Depatment of Neurological
Sugery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
I have always believed that what you eat has a great
effect on your health and well-being.

Soy needs to be fermented and organic, or it can do more harm in the disruption of the endocrine system.
Turmeric is wonderful and also a leading cancer reducing agent along with diabeties. Which anti inflam is key.
My family has used more natural means after failing from the Pharma side was evident from my beginning of nurse training.
and doing a few minutes every day of easy exercises.
I can enjoy my 2 cups of coffee with my healthy cereal for Breakfast.
Still enjoy my Thai spiced tea (with honey & cinnamon added) with
my yogurt for Lunch as always. Maybe have Soy in my Chinese Soup.
Have a healthy snack that includes cherries instead of bananas.
(Maybe cherry ice cream).
For Dinner have a salad with fish (maybe turmeric on it) with a glass
of red wine (red grapes).
That should make me healthy & pain free!
Seriously, I do get most of these in my diet
every day because I can not take pain killers
except in extreme cases & only 2 or 3 doses.
