Wouldn't it take an awful lot of those little candles? Also if there are kids around ...it could be a fire hazzard.

Although it may beat the blasting air from a heater or a fireplace/wood stove, it does warm a room.

From personal experience! But not from tea lights really. I lived in southern Georgia for a while, and it gets pretty warm down there! I had a little apartment that had three windows on the main entry wall, with little ledges where I kept three candles. Loved the way it looked, esp. when friends were coming over to hang out! Anyway, they put off a ton of heat, and I can totally see how, with the air circulated the right way, I could have heated the whole apartment with just a few more of those babies! Plus scented candles are just sooooo lovely!

Actually .. I do have Tea Candles in my Hurricane Supplies (as well as larger candles too) .. they are good for when power is interrupted .. (although I wouldn't leave them lit withOUT being there (or when I am asleep) .. just pointing out the FIRE Hazard)

I don't mean to use them as a source of power, but maybe for just the right amout of warmth in your bedroom at night.

(Oops .. Maybe didn't quite state that properly .. Tea Candles are part and parcel of my Hurricane Survival Supplies in my pantry ..they are good to use when Power is DOWN because of storms (and we can go weeks without any power at all) ..

I just wouldn't want them to be there lit anywhere while people sleep .. you never know what can happen ..
