The number of bi-polar women I have known.....you know the ones whose mood changes like hot and cold running water....

Its pretty scary actually; is it genetics, is it the chemicals in/hybridization of our food? Is this increasing in frequency or are we just talking about it more; or is this just another diagnosis to make big money from as the pharmacuticals and health system (industrial complex) continues the 'doping of America' as we continue our slide into socialism?

... but I bet those close to you know.

As long as you are dealing with it and staying on your meds, you'll be fine (like a diabetic).

My son has Schizophrenia, and I teach families of those who have bi-polar and other illnesses pertaing to the brain. Learn your illness and take your medication and you will do fine.....

    friend sticking tongues pics lol

Doctors are not always right in their diagnosis and we can and do heal completely in many cases, but take care.

But if you never need to talk to someone who is, I am here to chat. I am doing well on my medications and am pretty stable. I would not stop them for anything. Unless my Dr. recommended it. :)

I hope you are ok? Number one thing: Don't ever give up on yourself. Or give in to the illness. Beat it's ass! :) Work on it with your Dr. until it's under control. Beat Bipolar!

I hope you aren't just use to taking "it," as you call it. Just be sure to be healthy. And see another Dr. if needed. It sometimes takes a lot of work, meeting professionals and finding the right doses of medication. You work on it. But then before you know it you may feel much better. But if you aren't going through too much then by all means don't stress. You should get a dr. to just talk to at least. Just to see what can be done. If anything.

I don't know. But I do know that she is not in the correct profession to judge that. You need to discuss this with a psychologist. And determine it yourself. Your mother may not know everything you feel as much as you do. You need to own it and beat it! :)
