I'm at that point in my life where i really have to start deciding on what i'm going to be doing with my life. I've only got one year of high school left, and i am really stuck on what i want to go to college for.
I'm really leaning towards going for something to do with art, literature, or game development, but i have no confidence in my skills as an artist, writer, or someone who deals with technology. So I've just been thinking about going for elementary education, since i'm good with academics.
So this all leads me to wonder if any one else veered from what they had a passion for in life, and how it turned out.

Just me ∞ijm♥G☮F♀U∞ 2012/07/04 03:40:40Yes+4I always wanted to be in the medical profession thinking I would become a doctor, but ended up a nurse. I was in the process of getting my master's and had a car accident that caused me to hit my head on the windshield so I quit and just have never gone back yet, but I plan to. Now I'm really considering to become a CRNA.

Why don't you go into politics? You are a forceful speaker, or writer, and you would speak for so many women. Many feel exactly like you.
You could also write columns in local papers or in magazines.
Sorry I can't help you, I am French and I live in France, chère Mademoiselle Skeptikat.
lol
But things have changed a lot since then.
