I make the parts used in assembly lines. I have contributed some assembly in the process such as welding or riveting pieces together or glueing on strips of material but I have never worked on an "official" assembly line.

When I was 17 I worked briefly at a beef jerky factory! Packing beef jerky! I still can't stand the smell after that!

yes, and I quit after about two weeks. I could not tolerate the repetition and the same everyday .

I took a Job once during the summer on a Line where we spray painted duck-decoys there were 6-paint colors and has the molded duck went down a conveier belt each person had to spray a color onto the duck while holding a stencil cover over the decoy.

I've never been on an assembly line as a paid position, but sorting Girl Scout cookies is sort of assembly line-ish.

Yes ! Hobbs Division Of United Auto Workers .. I loved it ..and I was a Rate Buster .
I made 5 hours over every day ... It was great !

In a manner of speaking--not an assembly line, as in putting something together, but I worked in a food processing plant with corn sailing past to be put through the husking machine.
