Quite a few times actually ..
some took the advice (And sought the help .. got the help .. and are doing fine)
some didn't take the advice (and just figured out things for themselves .. )
some don't even want to hear any suggestions at all .. (and are sadly .. just still stuck in the rut they were in or in worse circumstances)

I think that my Mom needs a lot of help. My dad recently told me that he suspected that she might be bipolar, and I didn't have a lot of room to disagree.

gently and the most understanding way I could, I'd been going through a therapy program, and I told my best friend all about it. she and her mom are now very interested :) my prayers continue to go out to them both.
