Same here. You know when it's serious when the hospital staff comes in your room wearing haz-mat suits.

I use oxygen every night for sleeping, only because I'm a very shallow breather and doc says I must. Other than that, only while in the hospital. COPD stinks!

I had an oxygen tube on me when I was in labor with my first child. I don't think I needed it, but the doctor was being overly cautious.

A multivitamin, washed down by some Gatorade, followed by a few hits from the oxygen bottle, are a great cure for a hangover !

I get pneumonia really bad, and one time it was so terrible that my airway closed so much that I had what I'm pretty sure was an asthma attack. (I'd had two before that, but I tend to block how it feels from my memory.) Anyway, after a four hour Nebulizer treatment, I was put on oxygen until I got my breathing back under control. On the upside, I was already in the ER getting X-rays when it happened. On the downside, the staff got distracted by a patient that had passed away, told me I wasn't sick, and released me. The next morning, I was back.
