............ My ex wife smoked excessively, no matter how much housecleaning, the stale smell of smoke still remained in drapes, etc. , but that is in my past now, onward and upward in my single lifestyle................

My mom does. She's great and I understand it's really hard to quit but it really wreaks havoc on my Asthma. I feel like dieing whenever i go outside while she's smoking. lol

I'm 14, so I live with my parents. They both smoke 24/7. It's not fun to be around all the smoke, especially since I have asthma.

It was horrible! At the time I had no idea about second hand smoke. I have asthma and am paying the price now. I was getting up all night long- walking around trying to catch my breath -. I wish I knew back then what I know now.

My mother's friend lived with us for a period of time and he smoked. Just as well, after my mother's divorce, she smoked for a while. I do not understand why, as I personally detest it, but to each their own.

At one time, my sister, brother, and Father were all smokers, and I was living with all three of them at one time. My sister and Father quit smoking about 10 years ago, but my brother still smokes. I don't live with any of them anymore, though. I am very proud of my Dad and sister for quitting. I know how hard it was for them, and I think it's awesome that they went through with it and have done so well. :)

When I was 10-13 my step-mother smoked in the house and car. It was horrible breathing in all that smoke second-hand.
Even when I smoked (on and off for 4 years) I hate breathing in second hand smoke, and I made sure nobody breathed mine.

One nasty habit if ever there was......the house stunk, the clothes stunk ..everything smells like nasty Tobacco smoke.

both of us used to smoke....THank God we were able to quit....we are so much healthier and we used to smell horrible...and at the prices tobacco is now??? sure glad we arent spending that much money
