+5My child's father took off when our son was 14 days old. I got a job the next day and carried on. Sometimes there is just no time for crying.

I 'retreated' to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon'!
and spent 2 weeks 'alone', and 'regained my composure'!
And, took a couple of years to 'get past that BAD expierience'!
Men who grew up in my era were never to show any emotion at all - unless they were wimps.
Saw her recently at a college function. I was nearly incapable of speech.
me and my very besties have this thing that if one of us likes some boy, the other ones shouldn't go out with, or ask him out to keep friendships. we tell eachother if we think they're cute, good looking etc., and it's a good way of not falling out with eachother :)
Stop thinking about that guy and find someone new. if you still sometimes see him though, just try to forget about what you felt towards him, and think about just how fit he is ;) it'll be fine and you'll forget about him someday. maybe not forever, but you will
