I was inspired by Andrew's poll about the most hideous mullets. And, I must admit, when I was about 5 or 6, my parents cut my hair into a mullet. They always defend it with, "Well, it was the style at the time." LOL. There is no defense for the mullet! =)

Thankfully no! Although a friend and I did develop a "Mullet Grading System" - fairly straight forward and simple, the mullet is scored on a percentage basis. First percentage is the percentage of hair on TOP of the person's head, second is the percentage of hair in the mullet itself. The highest scorer we ever had was this hispanic man we called King Mullet. He rated out at 10/90.

Mullets and rat tails are in the same league: white trash. They are still running rampant here in the south on many of the guys. Very embarrassing! It's one thing to be stuck with the accent but it's a whole different thing when you LOOK like a freak and speak like your 6th grade diploma is the highest achievement in your family. Now SHE-Mullets are a whooooooooole different ballgame! Don't ever say anything negative to a woman sporting one! She'll kick you in the head and you'll wake up duct taped in the back of her 18 wheeler on your way into Mississippi!

Awwwwww CRUEL! LOL! Mullets are bad enough but a "Ginger Mullet"???? Guaranteed the guy shaved his whole head or you don't know since you had to go into the Witness Protection Program! Funny!

Never had a mullet, but when I was younger, wore my hair with a DA..That is I combed the back of the hair to look like a duck's a--!!! Of course that dates me, but those were the good old days.

actually no, we all had a great laugh the next morning cause we taped
the cut on a camera. he sported it for one day at school then shaved it
the next day. aww man, it was such a great one too.

I'm with you on that one Kari! When I was about five, my darling parents did the very same thing to me... wth! It looked pretty funny... lets not forget when my mom had my hair cut like a boy's with the exception of that tiny horrid streak that remained shoulder length (until we finally got rid of it), oh and when I was 7 she had my hair done with the bottom half as a boy and the rest kind of like ear length.... still dont know what the hell went on in my mother's head lol

Awww, you too? What is wrong with our parents, Marianne? lol. I didn't realize that the mullet had taken hold on Brazil too. It was a powerful haircut, haha. We'll just have to vow to have a better sense of style for our little girls then our mother's did for us! =)

My girls will be le cutes.... BUT how do we know what we think is cute is actually cute and God only knows what the popular hairstyles will be like 5 years from now haha lets just pray it wont be a mullet!!!!! hahaha Im so funny......not.
