Jessica Simpson recently became the first celebrity brand to break $1 billion in annual sales, according to reports -- but she may have had a little "help." Eagle-eyed bloggers are accusing the singer-turned-fashion mogul of ripping off one of Christian Louboutin’s designs, The New York Daily News reports.
Simpson was seen wearing the suspicious high-heeled pink stripy sandals in an ad for her clothing and accessories line, and some say they look more than a little similar to Louboutin’s Staratata sandals, which sold out in 2010. See for yourself -- the Louboutin's are on the left and Jessica Simpson's pumps are on the right.
But there's one major advantage to buying Jessica's shoes -- her Evangel sandals cost $98, as opposed to the Louboutins, which sold for $995 (about $700 of that is so you can show off the trendy red sole). Jessica's shoes have a lowly tan sole. Let's face it -- these shoes are really similar. Did Jessica intentionally copy Louboutin? Or do great minds think alike?

I'd love to have a pair of those.
MBT the original rocker bottom shoe is a patented shoe, so it can not be copied by any other company using the same materials and design concept. But there are knock off's of it using different design concept that looks similar to the MBT.
Tom's have knock off's
Sketchers being the BIGGEST company to knock off anyone's designs.
Ugg's have knock off's.
Dansko's have knock off's
The list goes on and on. Many brands, companies, and high label designers, they get copied, there are tons of rip off's.
The point of knock offs are to be lower in price (lower costing materials) and hence more affortable to the middle/lower classes.
