For the debut issue of TWELV magazine, designers Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Marakumi created a couture gown entirely out of 50,000 gummy bears. It took 3 weeks to make and weighs approximately 220 pounds. This gummy masterpiece pays homage to late designer Alexander McQueen, who crafted a similar gown -- though, not made of candy -- in his S/S 2008 collection. What do you think of the candy couture version? Is it tasty or terrible?

Actually, that is extremely cool! I love it! Obviously I wouldn't expect anybody to wear it or anything, but it's like art!

...but ridiculous. Better than a dress made out of meat though. I don't know how long that model could wear 220 pounds. However from the link's info I guess the gown's frame is rigid enough so that the dress is actually supported by the floor. Be a real pain to walk wearing that.

as much as i love gummy bears, and i really love gummy bears, i think kthis would just get really gross and sticky, and i can only imagine itd be heavy. plus, its a waste of good gummy bears, cause i wouldnt want to eat them after that
